Our work has always been focused at supporting women scale up their skills in business, support their children going to school and other chronic illneses so as to improve their wellbeing and standard of living.

Uganda like many developing countries of the world is faced with the challenge of providing adequate services to all her people struggling. Wakiso is one of the disadvantaged regions in Uganda found in Central Uganda. For the past years the government health sector has been working together with a number of other agencies to find ways and means of mitigating the currently sorry state and economic crisis for its people. This project sprouts out as a remedy to deplete constrains in the current health sector of the people leaving there. Many women, children and (People with disabilities) PWDs are the most vulnerable and leave in extreme poverty. Occasionally, they attempt to venture into enterprises (e.g., poultry, farming, crafts, small scale business) with little or no proper skills to keep them Sustainable. Uganda’s unemployment rate is 12.3 % which has contributed to the low GDP. Poultry production, road side vending and selling in markets are some of the commonest ventures that women explore into so as to get school fees to support their children in school. In the farm households it is the women and the youths (girls) who feed, clean and oversee poultry wellbeing. This project is aimed at supporting women scale up their skills in business, support their children going to school and improve the wellbeing of those that are struggling with Cancer and other chronic illness so as to improve their wellbeing and standard of living. Self-employment will be emphasized among the women to build a program that is sustainable. We are seeking for a grant so as to bridge the great need for training and socio-economically empower women, improved health services with in the area, skills, education and assistance to demographics in exceptionally difficult circumstances. Under investments in the health can hold back the economic development of many countries. The project is going to lead to improvement of the leaving of women and their children and quality of care cancer patients obtain in our region.
